Lange Nacht der Museen in der Millerntorwache
At 6 pm on April 22, the "Long Nights of Museums" in Hamburg, which is taking place offline for the first time since 2019, is going to start.
The Toepfer Foundation will use this chance to present a special programme in the Millerntorwache, as an addition to the current exhibition.

Tatsiana Tkachova is an award-winning Belarusian photographer and educator based in Germany. The main focus of her projects is women, particularly the topics of gender violence, conflict and resistance. Her works were published in the Belarussian and foreign media outlets including The Guardian, Novaya Gazeta. Europe, Der Spiegel and others. Tkachova's projects were exhibited in around the world and part of them are in a private collection.
Aliaxey Talstou is an artist and writer. Born in 1984 in Minsk, Belarus, he is currently based in Hamburg, Germany. He works with topics of social and political tension, technology and its impact on the human mind, ecological emergencies, and the theme of the crisis in general. In his artistic practice, Talstou employs media of painting, drawing, video, performance, process-based participatory practices, and text. Talstou is also known as a curator and a cultural worker. He also writes on art and politics for cultural and art magazines. In 2016 he was honored with the Rada Award (Belarus) “for the strong civil position in art”.
Lucy Day is a musician. She has played an active role in the UK's underground music scene for the last fifteen years. There she performed as part of contemporary folk band The knights Project. Since relocating to Hamburg, she has been refocusing her energy as a solo artist. She produces and releases her own music through collectively run label Castle Cooperative Records. Her set includes original songwriting, fingerpicking pieces, English and American folk music and acappella numbers. She was praised by different publications, among them Maddog Magazine and BBC Derby.
